All About Us

East End Bicycle Workshop is situated in Dennistoun, Glasgow and is run by myself, Trevor Baker.  I am a lifelong cyclist who has some experience in racing, touring, mountain biking, commuting and working as food delivery rider.  I am a Cytech Technical 2 and 3 qualified cycle technician and a British Cycling Level 2 qualified coach.  In 2023 I completed a frame and fork building course held by the Scottish Frame Building Experience, building a Columbus tubed all road frame. I have been a member of Glenmarnock Wheelers Cycling Club since 2008.

Cytech Technical 2 is the trade standard for professional cycle mechanics with the successful candidates being equipped with all the essential skills required to service and maintain bicycles and build wheels to the highest standard.  Cytech Technical 3 is designed for cycle technicians with strong technical knowledge and experience of working on high end bicycles and equipment.  It is the highest attainable qualification in professional cycle maintenance in the UK.

My intention in setting up East End Bicycle Workshop is to help keep you on the road or on the trail.  I offer a full range of services from changing an innertube to building a bespoke pair of wheels, from fitting new brake shoes to installing a new groupset.

In addition to full workshop facilities, I sell a comprehensive range of spares and accessories from innertubes to chains, from tyres to brake shoes.  For those of you who like to do your own maintenance, I sell a range of bike maintenance products, oils and tools.

In addition to the above services I aim to sell a range of second hand and vintage bicycle components.
